Unschool was the way human children, like their mammal cousins, learned for millenia. It was not called "unschooling" because the institution of forced education had never been forced upon children until very recently in human history. What is now seen as a new philosophy is not new at all; it is a deliberate attempt to return to nature;s intent, to return children to their natural, organic state of innate passion. ~Laurie A. Plans for the Future

We really do try to take each day as it comes; but we have set the goal of moving when Mance finishes his apprentice school. Our destination you ask?  Well, we seem to have settled on Portland, Oregon. That seems the directions Gods wind wants us to fly.  So we have 4 years to figure it out and do lots of praying, soul searching and downsizing (and fixing our credit lol)

Click the map for the full picture; but anyway, its 2317 miles of fun with 2 (possibly 3) kids in tow.  Just looking at this blue line on the map, I see so many wonderful "field trips" - City Museum in St Louis, Mo., then stick as close as we can to the route of the Oregon Trail from St Joseph, MO through Kearney, NE (Ft Kearney) and on to Salt Lake City, UT.  I forsee many side trips and hopefully meeting many great friends.

So for now, any prayers would be very welcome and as always, donations are accepted. Not that I actually expect to get anything, but I thought I would put it out there anyway. LOL
